You bet! JG is licensed and operates all throughout California, Nevada & Arizona. Though we have maintained licensing in several other of the 11 western states, we do not actively do business in them. Currently, we remain active in CA, NV & AZ. If you firm performs work in those states, be sure to let us know! We are always seeking great trade partners in all regions and states we actively do business in.
We have finally become a 100% cloud based company with all of our programs utilizing ERP connections for real time data and information with all parties involved. Our team is very understanding of the technological advancement and is always helpful to walk or guide you through any quesitons you may have in navigating our platforms.
The programs we utilize for subcontractor management:
- Building Connected for bidding & estimating
- Procore for current project management
- DocuSign for all contract & change orders and all signatures.
- Due to all our systems being integrated with one another, we do require all documents to be executed via DocuSign. We do not accept wet signatures or scanned copies unless specifically noted otherwise.
- Sage Intacct Construction for our companies accounting infrastructure. This is integrated with Procore and all projects data is ERP connected in live form across these platforms.
We hold safety standards in the highest regard and exceed OSHA standards in several requirements. At the start of each job, every tradesmen will need to go through JG’s safety orientation onsite, conducted by our site superintendent. Every subcontractor will receive a “JG Safety Orientation” hard hat sticker to acknowledge they have been informed of our standards.
In addition, every subcontractor will receive a copy of our safety standards and rules with their Master Subcontract Agreement. You can also find them above on this page in the documents section or our SAFETY PAGE.
At JG, we have adopted a 2 part contract process to help each project going forward less lengthy. We utilize our Master Subcontract Agreement (MSA), which must be executed in order to do business with JG. This contract is a blanket contract and is valid for 5 years. Please note, this contract will encompass certain articles that may or may not be applicable on your project (example – there is an article for P&P bonding, which will only apply IF required by owner) and will be outlined on the project specific contract, known as your Project Specific Work Order (WO). In your WO, this will outline the specifics and details of the project itself to inlcude the scope of work and all other pertinent project contract documents.
Above, you’ll find the subcontractor pre-qualification packet to complete. Please be sure to be thorough in completing this. Sweet spot projects, project value are important for us to ensure we set you up for success on the right projects that fit your companies wheelhouse and main expertise. Please also be sure to list your companies General Contractor references. Our company policy restricts the approval of pre-qualification if this is not completed.
